WORLD SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT DAY

November 26 marks the World Sustainable Transport Day, established by the United Nations in 2023.
This day is a reminder for all of us of how crucial it is to embrace low‑impact mobility solutions to build a more safer, more efficient future.
Here’s what we’ve done since last year: since September 2024, we’ve taken the decision to reduce road shipping and to increase intermodal transport toward #MidacUK, thanks to the European railway system.
Together with #Codognotto – a Treviso‑based company that offers innovative solutions for services, transport, intermodality and integrated logistics – our Purchasing and Shipping team has successfully delivered 76% of our products to #MidacUK by train, minimizing road transport.
These are our results: we saved more than 165 tons of CO₂ on the routes to #MidacUK.
In total, we reduced CO₂ emissions to #MidacUK by 40% compared to road transport.
We extend our thanks to #Codognotto for collaborating in the realization of this project.
This is a step forward in our journey to reduce our environmental footprint, a commitment we are constantly pursuing.
